The photovoltaic extension cable, 1 m in length, is used to connect a solar panel to a charge controller, inverter, or other wiring in the system. It is supplied as a pair of wires in red and black, allowing polarity to be distinguished by the colour of the insulation, ensuring you won't make a mistake when connecting. The wire has a cross-section of 6 mm² according to the designation 10 AWG and is made up of eighty-four strands with a diameter of 0.30 mm, which maintains flexibility even with this cross-section. One end is factory-fitted with a solar connector, while the other end remains free for connection to a terminal block or for custom termination. The current carrying capacity reaches 70 A at 60 °C.

The cables are suitable for connecting the panel to a charge controller, extending existing wiring, or replacing a damaged piece in a functioning assembly. Cross-section 6 mm² with a current rating of 70 A is suitable for high-performance assemblies and locations where the current from multiple panels is combined. When designing the wiring, keep in mind that voltage drop increases with the length of the run, so choose the shortest reasonable distance. The colour distinction of the insulation facilitates polarity checks during any subsequent adjustments to the assembly.

Faulty or damaged goods
Period for claiming a fault: up to six years from delivery of the goods – within the first 30 days you can reject a faulty product and ask for a full refund, and for the first 12 months a fault is presumed to have been present on delivery

Remedies: a replacement with a new item, a reasonable price reduction, or a refund of the full purchase price
