The nitrate tester and radiation detector is designed for quick checks of food safety at home, when shopping at the market, and while travelling. The device measures the nitrate content in fruit, vegetables, meat and fish within the range of 0–9999 mg/kg and compares the measured value with the standard for the specific type of food. In addition to food testing, it allows monitoring of the radiation level in the surroundings and assessing the quality of drinking water based on TDS values. Operation is via a colour touch screen with a clear menu, where you can select the category and type of food, such as tomato, broccoli or banana. The compact detector in white with a green probe cover easily fits into a pocket, handbag or shopping bag.

The nitrate tester is useful for anyone who wants to keep track of the quality of the food they purchase and consume daily. It is applicable when buying fruit and vegetables, preparing meals for family, in the kitchen of a small restaurant, or when checking home-grown produce from the garden or farm. Measurement requires no technical knowledge: simply turn on the device, select the food in the menu, insert the probe, and read the result on the display. Clean the probe before and after each measurement and store the device in a dry place, ideally in the included protective pouch. Due to its lightweight, compact size, and long battery life, the detector is also suitable for travel, holidays, or at the cottage.
