Cot Bumper 200 cm Long Padded with Soft Filling and Ties for Attaching to Slats and Corner Posts of the Frame

The bare slats of the cot are covered inside by the padded bumper, which can be easily tied to the frame to create a soft layer along the walls. Thanks to the soft filling, the child touches the padded surface when turning, leaning, or playing, rather than the hard slats directly. With a length of 200 cm, the bumper can be run along the wall and bent at the corner to cover the adjoining part of the cot. The ties wrap around the slats and corner posts and are tied into bows that can be undone at any time. The entire bumper around the cot forms one continuous strip, allowing it to be secured to the cot all at once without the need to assemble individual parts.

  • Soft Padding – the filling inside the strip gives the walls of the cot flexibility, making contact with the wall softer for the child than with bare slats. The strip is finished with a flat stitched edge all around.
  • 200 cm in One Piece – the uninterrupted strip can be arranged according to the dimensions of the specific cot and bent at the corners to continue along the next wall. The ends of the strip are tied to the posts or slats where the bumper is meant to end.
  • Attachment at Two Heights – the ties sewn at both the top and bottom edges are wrapped around the slat or post, tightened, and tied into a bow. This keeps the bumper secured to the wall both at the top and bottom, preventing the bottom edge from leaning into the cot. It is advisable to occasionally check the strength of the knots.
  • Covering Gaps – in the section covered by the bumper, gaps between the slats are hidden behind the soft padding, making the interior of the cot appear as one continuous surface. A toy placed against the wall will not fall through any gaps onto the floor.
  • Easy Changing – to change the sheet or clean the slats and frame of the cot, simply untie the bows and remove the bumper without needing to screw anything. It can be returned to its original position in the same way, with the ties just wrapped and tied again.
  • Transport and Storage – the flexible strip can be folded several times upon removal, making it easy to transport and store. The folded bumper can also be transported to another cot, for example, when travelling.

The two-metre padded strip transforms the bare slats of the cot into a soft wall, and due to its flexibility, it can be bent at the corners and continued along the adjoining wall. The ties at both edges keep it pressed against the slats, and after untying the bows, the bumper can be removed at any time. Changing bedding or regular cleaning of the cot is therefore not complicated by the bumper. When not in use, it can simply be folded into several layers and stored in a cupboard or on a shelf. The cot thus receives softly padded walls, the installation of which consists only of tying a few bows around the slats and posts.
