Water aerobics dumbbells are designed for exercise in water, where resistance is provided by the water instead of weight. The set includes two foam dumbbells, allowing for simultaneous exercise with both hands. Each dumbbell measures 27 x 15 cm and consists of two wide cylinders connected by a black handle. The foam cylinders are blue with a white stripe in the middle and are buoyant in water, meaning every movement below the surface requires more strength than on land. The dumbbells are suitable for aqua aerobics classes, independent exercise in the pool, as well as for rehabilitation and conditioning movements in water.

  • Foam Cylinders – both ends of the dumbbell consist of foam cylinders with a diameter of 15 cm. When pushed underwater, they provide resistance, and when pulled out of the water, they float. The difficulty is determined by the speed and range of movement, not the weight of the dumbbell. Slow movements are suitable for warming up, while fast and wide movements increase muscle load.
  • Handle – the black handle between the cylinders is 11.7 cm long, which is sufficient for a firm grip with one hand. The handle is set into the cylinders, and its black ends are visible at the ends of the dumbbell.
  • Exercises in Water – with the dumbbells, exercises such as lateral raises, front raises, underwater presses, arm circles, or boxing in water can be performed. This engages the shoulders, arms, chest, and back, and while walking or running in water, also the core muscles.
  • Support During Exercise – the dumbbells held in hands help maintain balance during exercises in deeper water and while using the legs, such as treading water or kicking. In shallow water, they can also serve as light support during lunges, squats, and walking backwards.
  • Lightweight Construction – out of water, the dumbbells are lightweight, making them easy to carry in a swimming bag and pose no burden on the shore. After exercise, simply rinse the dumbbells with clean water and allow them to air dry.
  • Use in the Pool – the dumbbells are useful in aqua aerobics classes, during independent exercise in the swimming pool, and in smaller garden pools. They can be used standing in shallow water or in depths where the feet do not reach the bottom.
  • Vibrant Colours – the blue-white cylinders are easily visible in water, making the dumbbells easy to find on the surface and at the edge of the pool.
