The Yixing Kung Fu tea set is designed for the traditional Chinese tea ceremony and includes tableware and auxiliary tools on one tray. The tableware is made from handcrafted Yixing ceramic with a finely crackled surface in a calm light green shade. The tray is made from solid wood and features a slatted top, beneath which water from rinsing the tableware and warming the cups is drained. The set includes a teapot with a bamboo handle, a teapot for infusing tea, tea cups, bamboo coasters, a textile towel, and tools for handling loose tea. Thus, the set covers the entire process of preparing tea using the Kung Fu method without the need to purchase additional equipment.

  • Ceramic Teapot — a teapot with a lid and bamboo handle that does not heat up much during pouring. It is used for steeping loose tea directly on the tray.
  • Teapot for Infusing Tea — used to pour the finished brew before serving into cups, ensuring each cup has the same strength. The side handle makes it easier to handle the hot contents.
  • Tea Cups — small cups suitable for traditional serving in smaller portions during the ceremony. The light interior allows for monitoring the colour of the brew.
  • Bamboo Coasters — separate bases on which cups can be placed even off the tray, for example directly in front of guests on the table.
  • Wooden Tray with Slats — excess water drains through the slats into the space beneath the surface, preventing the table from getting wet and allowing the tableware to be rinsed with boiling water without worry.
  • Bamboo Tools — used for scooping loose tea, handling hot cups, and cleaning the teapot strainer.
  • Tea Towel — a textile towel for wiping the tray and tableware during preparation.
