The folding digital meat thermometer is a handy assistant for everyday cooking, baking in the oven, and grilling in the garden. The metal probe easily flips out from the body of the thermometer, and after being inserted into the food, the current temperature is displayed on the clear LCD screen. The thermometer measures within a range of -50 to 300 °C, making it suitable for checking roasted meat, poultry, fish, sauces, hot oil during frying, and warm beverages. The display features backlighting, allowing you to read the measured value even in the evening by the grill or in a poorly lit kitchen. After use, the probe can be folded back into the body, where it is protected and does not take up space in the drawer.

On the front side, there are three buttons for simple control. The first is used to switch between units °C/°F and for calibration, the second turns on the backlight of the display, and the third controls the HOLD, MAX, and MIN functions. The HOLD function retains the measured value on the display, allowing you to read the temperature comfortably even after removing the thermometer from the oven. The MAX and MIN modes show the highest and lowest measured temperatures, which is useful when monitoring the temperature of oil or broth. The thermometer automatically turns off after a period of inactivity thanks to the auto shut-off feature, thus saving battery life. At the end of the body, there is a large hole with a metal bottle opener, which is handy for barbecue parties and at the cottage.

After each measurement, wipe the probe with a damp cloth or napkin and allow the thermometer to dry before folding. Do not submerge the body of the thermometer in water or wash it in a dishwasher. If not used for an extended period, it is advisable to remove the battery to prolong its life. The included manual contains a clear table of recommended temperatures for various types of meat, so you know when the steak, chicken, or pork tenderloin is cooked exactly to your liking.
