The large mat under the cat litter box helps keep the area around the litter tray clean and protects the floor from scattered litter. With dimensions of 120 x 67.5 cm, it provides ample space in front of the entrance to the litter box, allowing the cat to step directly onto the mat after leaving, rather than onto the floor. The mat is made from lightweight and flexible EVA material, which is gentle on paws and easy to maintain. The foundation is a double-layer construction with a honeycomb pattern of holes on the top side. Litter particles that get stuck between the cat's paw pads fall through the holes into the space between the two layers and remain inside the mat, rather than being spread throughout the flat. The bottom layer is sealed and does not allow liquid to pass through, ensuring the floor remains protected from urine or water. The manufacturer supplies the mat with two types of hole patterns, and a specific pattern is selected randomly upon dispatch; however, both serve the same purpose of capturing litter.

Maintaining the mat is simple and can be done in no time. Lift the mat from one side, open both layers, and empty the captured litter into a bin or bag. Then rinse the mat with water and allow it to air dry. For the best results, we recommend regularly emptying the litter from the mat to prevent the holes from becoming clogged, allowing the mat to continue effectively capturing new particles. The lightweight material is easy to carry, making it simple to clean the mat in the shower, bath, or outside under a hose.
