The whale-shaped grabbing toy is a cheerful helper for children who love to play at the beach, in the sandpit, or in the snow. The toy measures 35 x 13 x 9.5 cm and its wide mouth can hold a large amount of sand, snow, or several small toys at once. It is operated by squeezing the handle at the end of the tail, which the child holds in their palm, causing the mouth to close around whatever they want to lift. The whale has eyes, fins, and a light-coloured lower jaw on its body, making it look like a real sea giant. It is suitable as a gift for little explorers as well as an accessory in a sand toy set.
At the end of the body is an oval handle with a yellow ribbed lever, which allows the child to comfortably hold and control the toy. The mouth is deep and wide, so it can accommodate a larger handful of sand or snow. While playing, the child naturally practices their grip and hand-eye coordination, as they must guide the mouth precisely to the object and close it at the right moment. The toy can also be used at home during clean-up, where children collect blocks, balls, or soft toys from the floor and carry them to a box. The body of the whale is made of plastic and its shapes are rounded.
- Type – grabbing toy with a whale-shaped mouth
- Dimensions – 35 x 13 x 9.5 cm
- Material – plastic
- Control – the mouth closes by squeezing the handle
- Usage – beach, sandpit, snow, garden, toy clean-up
- Contents – 1 whale-shaped grabbing toy
After playing at the beach or in the snow, simply rinse the toy with clean water and let it air dry. Sand trapped in the mouth and jaw joint can be easily rinsed out with a stream of water. It is advisable to store the toy in a dry place, where the child can find it during their next outing to the water or snow. During play, it is important that the child is supervised by an adult and uses the toy only for collecting sand, snow, and toys.
The grabbing whale combines simple operation with a cheerful marine appearance, making it suitable for play in both summer and winter. With a length of 35 cm, it is large enough for scooping sand and snow while being easy to hold in a child's hand. Children can play with it alone, with siblings, or with friends, inventing competitions to see who can collect the most shells or snowballs. The toy is easily transportable in a beach bag or a backpack for outings. It is a practical and fun choice for any child who enjoys spending time outdoors.
