The universal mobile adapter transforms your smartphone into a camera for digiscoping. The phone holder attaches directly to the eyepiece of a monocular, binocular telescope, spotting scope, telescope, or microscope, allowing the mobile camera to capture the image seen through the eye. With two insert rings, it fits eyepieces with a diameter of 26 to 43.5 mm. The spring jaws accommodate phones with a width of 62 to 105 mm, making it suitable for both iPhones and Android devices. You can take photographs of birds, wildlife, the Moon, or specimens under the microscope without additional photographic equipment.

The eyepiece clamp features an internal ring made of soft rubber, which prevents scratching the eyepiece while also blocking side light from entering the phone's lens. You can adjust the size of the clamp with the adjustment screw, ensuring the adapter holds firmly even on eyepieces with a rotating or folding eyecup. The extended arm allows you to shift the phone so that the mobile camera is positioned directly above the centre of the eyepiece. The jaws do not interfere with the side buttons of the phone, preventing the volume buttons from being pressed during photography. Once aligned, simply secure the position with the locking screw.

Before attaching, we recommend removing the protective case from the phone. First, open the jaws and insert the phone horizontally, then adjust the arm so that the phone's camera is centred over the eyepiece opening, and secure the position with the screw. Attach the clamp to the eyepiece and tighten the adjustment screw. For a full-screen image, simply use the zoom feature in the camera app. For smaller diameter eyepieces, first insert ring M, ring S, or both rings together. The guiding rods of the jaws are made of stainless steel, which does not corrode even when photographing outdoors, and the plastic parts can be wiped clean with a dry cloth.

The adapter is a practical assistant for birdwatchers, hunters, amateur astronomers, and students who want to capture what they see through the eyepiece. With the rings, it can be adapted to eyepieces from 26 mm up to 43.5 mm. The spring jaws accommodate both standard and large smartphones, and attachment takes only a few seconds. The rubber ring protects the eyepiece and reduces glare. One holder can be used with a telescope on a trip, with a telescope for stargazing, and with a microscope when working with specimens.
