The TIMEMORE Chestnut C3S PRO manual coffee grinder is designed for anyone who wants to grind coffee beans fresh just before preparation. Inside, it features conical grinding stones S2C660 with a diameter of 38 mm made from SUS 420 stainless steel, which first crush the beans and then grind them evenly. The body of the grinder is made from aluminium alloy and stainless steel, and its surface has a fine textured finish, allowing for a firm grip in the hand. You can adjust the grind coarseness beneath the stones using a dial with individual steps. The grinder is compact, making it suitable for the kitchen, office, or travel.

The shaft with the stones is supported by two bearings, ensuring it remains centred and the stones do not deviate during grinding. The coarseness adjustment operates on a point-by-point system with 12 steps per rotation, where one step corresponds to a shift of approximately 0.083 mm. The manufacturer recommends 7 to 8 steps for espresso, 13 to 16 steps for pour-over coffee, and 16 to 20 steps for French press. The metal handle can be folded against the body of the grinder, making it take up less space when stored or transported.
