This set of ten replacement bra fastenings for sewing is designed for seamstresses, tailoring workshops, and households where lingerie is frequently repaired. The package contains ten complete sets, each consisting of a strap with 2 hooks side by side and a counterpart with three rows of eyes. The width of both parts is 3.2 cm, which corresponds to the standard fastening of bras with two hooks. You can replace damaged, bent, or stretched fastenings with new ones without the need to buy an entire bra. A larger number of sets will be appreciated when sewing your own lingerie or making repairs for the whole family.
The length of the part with hooks is 2.8 cm and the length of the part with eyes is 5 cm. The distance between the centres of the hooks is 1.3 cm, which is also the spacing of the eyes in each row. The backing fabric is polyester, and the hooks and eyes are metal. The parts are supplied separately, so each needs to be sewn onto the garment – the part with hooks on one end of the back strap and the part with eyes on the other. Three rows of eyes allow the band to be fastened in three widths. Fastenings of the same type are also used in corsets, bodysuits, swimsuits, and shaping underwear.

Before sewing on the new fastenings, carefully unpick the original parts and place the new ones in the same position to keep the band the same. It can be sewn by hand or on a sewing machine, preferably with thread in a similar shade to the lingerie. When hand sewing, it helps to first pin the part with pins to prevent it from shifting while working. Wash bras with new fastenings fastened and in a laundry bag, so the hooks do not catch on other clothing. Store unused sets in a box with sewing supplies, where they will be handy for the next repair.

How do I return goods?
