The lens hood for threaded filter 82 mm helps achieve cleaner and more contrast-rich photos when shooting outdoors on bright days. The hood features a classic tulip shape with petal cut-outs and easily screws into the filter thread on the front of the lens. It helps shade the front lens from side light that otherwise creates glare and a bright veil in the image. The resulting shots have better contrast and more vibrant colours, even when shooting against the sun or another strong light source. It is suitable for lenses of Canon cameras and other brands, provided they have a filter thread of 82 mm diameter.

The hood is made of black plastic, which discreetly matches most lenses and cameras. In addition to reducing glare, it also serves as mechanical protection for the front of the lens. Before purchasing, please check the thread diameter of your lens.
