The insect-shaped replacement head is a simple way to revitalise a favourite teaser and restore your cat's hunting drive. The body of the pendant is wrapped in wool, with delicate feathers at the end and thin antennae and legs at the front that quiver with movement like a real beetle. A small bell hangs from the metal clip, which jingles softly with every swish, capturing the attention of even the sleepiest cat. The head is designed as a replacement for a worn pendant, as cats catch, bite, and drag their prey on the ground during play. Thanks to the replacement, you do not need to buy a whole new teaser, and the fun can continue immediately.
The pendant attaches to the end of the teaser string using a metal clip with a carabiner, so the exchange takes only a few seconds and can be done without tools. The length of the head varies from 7 to 15 cm depending on the design, with larger pendants having a fuller feather plume, while smaller ones are lighter and bounce more quickly. The toy does not require batteries or charging; all movement is created by your hand, allowing you to adjust the pace of play to suit your pet's age and temperament. Gentle movements across the floor mimic crawling insects, while quick swishes in the air simulate a flying butterfly or dragonfly.

Play with your cat regularly for several minutes a day, ideally before feeding or in the evening when they are naturally most active. Let them catch the prey occasionally to keep the joy of hunting alive and prevent loss of motivation. After playtime, store the head out of reach of the animal, as the feathers and antennae are not intended for unsupervised chewing. When the feathers become ruffled over time or the body of the pendant loosens, simply detach the head and replace it with a new one. Store it in a dry place to maintain the shape of the feathers.
The replacement insect head extends the life of your teaser and provides your cat with new prey without the need to buy the entire toy. The combination of wool, feathers, and jingling bell stimulates both sight and hearing, supporting the natural hunting instinct. The attachment via carabiner is quick and convenient, allowing you to prepare several pendants in advance and alternate them according to your pet's mood. It is a practical accessory for anyone who enjoys playing with their cat and wants to ensure they get enough exercise at home.
