The package contains 2 replacement filter inserts for a water prefilter, which screws between the tap and the shower hose or in front of the washing machine, water heater, and tap at the sink. The inserts are made of dense PP cotton and capture sand, rust, and other mechanical impurities from the water supply. They filter water through their entire volume, so water pressure does not significantly drop. By replacing the clogged insert with a new one, you restore the full efficiency of the prefilter. The white colour of the inserts makes it easy to check, as clogging is clearly visible on them.
The inserts have a diameter of 3.8 cm and a length of 5.4 cm, fitting into a prefilter with a transparent casing of 9 cm in height and 6 cm in width, with a thread diameter of 2 cm. In the centre of the insert is a hole through which water flows after passing through the wall to the shower or appliance. The wall of the insert is thick 9 mm, so impurities are captured throughout its thickness, not just on the surface. Two inserts in the package provide you with a supply for two replacements. The inserts are without a casing and are intended only as a replacement for an already used prefilter. Regularly replacing the insert helps maintain a constant water flow and prevents captured impurities from moving further into the shower, washing machine, or heater.

Replacing the insert takes only a moment. First, close the water supply, then unscrew the transparent casing of the prefilter and remove the used insert. Rinse the casing with clean water, insert a new insert, check that the seal fits properly, and screw the casing back on tightly. After opening the water, let it run for a moment to flush the new insert. Replace the insert whenever you see significant deposits or darkening on it. Keep the replacement insert dry and clean until use.
Replacement inserts made of PP cotton are a simple way to keep the water prefilter functional without the need to buy an entirely new filter.
