The preliminary water filter is installed directly on the water supply and captures mechanical impurities before they reach the shower head, tap, washing machine, or water heater. Inside the housing is a replaceable PP cotton filter insert, through which water flows from the outside to the inside. The fine fibrous structure of the insert retains small particles, sand, and deposits that are commonly released in older plumbing systems. The filter connects using a 1/2" thread at both ends, making it suitable for most standard domestic plumbing and appliances. Thanks to its compact size, it fits into tight spaces under sinks or behind washing machines.
The filter housing is transparent, so at a glance, you can see how clogged the insert is. A new insert is pure white and gradually darkens depending on how much dirt it has captured. Once it turns brown, it's time to replace it, and the filter will work at full capacity again. The bottom part of the housing can be unscrewed without tools, making the replacement quick and easy. When replacing, simply rinse the housing briefly with clean water and insert a new filter.

The filter is installed between the water supply and the appliance. For the shower, it can be placed between the tap and hose or between the shower arm and head, for the washing machine between the valve and the inlet hose. When installing, pay attention to the correct direction of water flow and tighten the threads carefully to ensure good sealing of the joints. Regularly check the condition of the insert through the transparent housing and replace it according to the level of contamination. The replacement interval depends on the quality of water in your home; in older houses with steel plumbing, it is often shorter.
