The JJC lens hood is designed for Fujifilm XF 23 mm F2.8 R WR, XF 27 mm F2.8 R WR and XF 27 mm F2.8 lenses, which are often used on compact mirrorless Fujifilm X-series cameras, such as the X-E5 model. The hood has a classic square shape and is made from aluminium alloy, making it lightweight yet sturdy. It attaches to the lens using the included adapter ring, onto which the hood is fitted. It captures side and scattered light that would otherwise hit the front lens directly, creating glare and haze in the images. Photographs taken against the light will thus retain better contrast and more vibrant colours.
The inner side of the hood features a matte surface to reduce reflections, limiting unwanted light reflections within the hood. The design ensures that it does not intrude into the frame while shooting, preventing vignetting or dark corners in the images. The set also includes a metal cap with a soft EVA lining, which fits directly onto the hood and protects the front lens when carrying the camera in a bag, backpack, or on a strap. Installation can be done quickly and without tools. First, attach the adapter ring to the lens, then fit the lens hood onto it, and when the camera is not in use, put the cap on the hood. The procedure is clearly illustrated in the included instructions. Both the hood and the cap should be wiped occasionally with a dry soft cloth to prevent dust and fingerprints from remaining. How do I return goods?

- We will settle your claim within 30 days at the latest – with a new item, a price reduction or a refund.
If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
