The electric takoyaki maker is designed for home preparation of Japanese dough balls with octopus, but it also works well for sweet dough balls made from pancake or batter mix. The cooking surface has 18 holes of 4 cm diameter, allowing you to prepare a full portion for family or guests in one go. The device heats itself and does not require a stove, hot plate, or gas burner. The heating element with a power of 500 W plugs directly into a standard socket. Simply place it on a table or kitchen counter, heat it up, grease the holes with oil, and pour in the batter.
The round body of the device has a diameter of 23.5 cm and a height of 6.8 cm, so it takes up little space on the work surface and is easy to store in a cupboard after use. On the front, there is a rotating control knob with a scale from light to dark browning, allowing you to set how well the balls should be cooked. Next to the control knob are two indicator lights. Before the first batch, allow the device to heat up and lightly grease the holes with oil to ensure even cooking of the batter. Pour the batter into each hole up to the edge, add filling to taste, and after a while, turn the balls with a skewer or fork to cook them evenly on all sides. Traditional takoyaki is filled with pieces of octopus, spring onions, and pickled ginger, and served with sauce, mayonnaise, and dried fish flakes. The sweet version made from pancake batter tastes delicious with sugar, chocolate, or fruit. After cooling, simply wipe the cooking surface with a damp cloth or paper towel. Never immerse the device in water.

How do I return goods?

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
