Car window tinting films
Tinting films darken the car windows, increase privacy and limit the entry of sun, heat and UV radiation into the interior. Here you will find films of various darkness levels and shades, by the metre and in rolls, for the rear side windows and the rear window. Before buying, check what light transmission the regulations in your country allow.
Car window tinting films
Tinting films are applied to the inside of car windows and reduce their light transmission. They increase the privacy of occupants and luggage, limit glare and overheating of the interior and block a large part of the UV radiation that fades upholstery and the dashboard. They are used above all on the rear side windows and the rear window.
Films differ in darkness, that is light transmission, indicated by the VLT value in percent — the lower the number, the darker the window. By composition, dyed films, which are the most affordable, are distinguished from metallised or ceramic films, which reflect heat better and do not disturb the signal of electronics. They come in shades from smoke through graphite to black, in various widths, by the metre and as pre-cut kits for a specific vehicle.
Besides darkening, the film also helps to reinforce the glass and hold fragments together if it breaks. Application is done from inside onto the cleaned glass, the film is shaped with heat and water and bubbles are squeezed out with a squeegee.
The legal side is essential: the light transmission of the windscreen and the front side windows is limited by regulations in most countries, and the film must meet the set limits or be approved. Before buying and fitting, check the current rules in force in your country and choose the film according to which window you want to tint. Follow the manufacturer's instructions.
How we rank results
We determine the order of offers in search results and in category listings automatically, according to the rules below. No seller is given priority in the ranking, and it is not possible to pay us for a better position.
Search (default sorting “Relevance”): we show offers that match the search term, including those with a small deviation or only a partial match. Their order depends most on how popular the offer is with customers. If you have accepted cookies, the next biggest factor is which categories and offer attributes you have viewed during your current visit. It also matters how popular the offer is for that search term, how closely it matches the term and how popular its category is for that term.
Categories (default sorting “Best Sellers”): the offers that sell the most appear at the top.
Sorting by price: if you choose Price: Low to High or Price: High to Low, we sort by price including VAT only.
