The lens hood designated ET-60 is a replacement accessory for Canon telephoto lens owners who wish to shoot without distracting glare and veils in their images. It is designed for Canon EF-S 55-250 mm f/4-5.6 IS II and EF 75-300 mm f/4-5.6 III USM lenses, which are popular zooms often sold in a kit with a DSLR. The hood attaches to the front of the lens and shields the lens from light hitting it from the side. Images taken in bright sunlight or backlighting therefore have better contrast and more vibrant colours. At the same time, it creates a distance between the front lens element and the surroundings, making it harder for fingers or branches to touch the glass.
The hood has a cylindrical shape and a matte black surface that does not add additional reflections to the shot. An advantage is the reversible design – when you do not need the hood, you can reverse it and fit it back over the lens barrel. The camera then fits into a bag or backpack without needing to carry the hood separately and ensuring it does not get lost. When shooting, you can easily remove it, reverse it, and reattach it to the working position. The attachment is bayonet, so the hood stays on the lens without screwing into the filter thread.

The hood is suitable for shooting landscapes, sports, animals, and outdoor portraits when the sun shines obliquely into the lens. It will also be appreciated by beginners who are just learning to shoot with a telephoto lens in various lighting conditions throughout the day. To attach it to the lens, simply place it against the front and twist until it clicks into place. The surface only needs to be wiped occasionally with a dry or slightly damp cloth, and it is advisable to keep the inside of the hood clean to prevent dust from reaching the lens.
The ET-60 lens hood is a practical replacement for a lost or damaged original hood and an accessory for those who never received one with their lens. It fits Canon lenses with a filter thread diameter of 58 mm as mentioned above and helps to reduce glare and side light in images. Thanks to its reversible design, it takes up minimal space when transported and remains with the lens. Easy attachment can be managed by any photographer without tools or experience. How do I return goods?

- Pack the goods and send them by post to the returns address in Spain.

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
