The folding lens hood with a 82 mm thread protects images from distracting side light and glare that reduce the contrast of the photograph. It screws directly onto the filter thread on the front of the lens, ensuring a secure fit without the need for a bayonet mount. The hood is three-stage and can be adjusted to three positions: fully extended, half-folded, or completely folded. This allows you to adapt the length to the lens and shot used, ensuring that the edge of the hood does not intrude into the image.
