The shower filter in black housing is designed for everyday showering in the home bathroom. Water from the tap flows through the replaceable filter cartridge, which contains 15 filter layers stacked on top of each other. The filter connects between the shower hose and the fixed arm or between the arm and the shower head using a standard G1/2 thread. The seller specifies it for capturing chlorine and heavy metals contained in the water. Thanks to its compact shape, it fits even into smaller shower cubicles and does not appear intrusive.
The cartridge combines various types of filtering materials. At both ends, there is a fine stainless steel mesh that retains coarser impurities, followed by a layer of PP cotton. Installation can be done by anyone without tools. Wrap Teflon tape around the thread of the shower arm, insert a sealing ring into the filter, and tighten the filter firmly by hand. On the other side, screw on the hose or shower head. Before first use, let water flow through the filter freely for about twenty seconds to flush the cartridge. The housing can be unscrewed, so you can easily replace the worn cartridge with a new one of the same size. The housing only needs to be wiped occasionally with a damp cloth; do not use abrasive cleaners or sharp objects that could scratch the surface.
