Overview
Wooden Advent Calendar Skyscraper with Sliding Figure 13 x 23 cm Countdown 24 Days Blue-Grey Wood Christmas Decoration for Table and Shelf

This unconventional advent calendar takes the form of a slender skyscraper, from whose façade a small figure gradually slides down. The entire calendar is made of wood and measures approximately 13 x 23 cm, making it easy to fit on a desk, shelf, dresser, or windowsill. In the middle of the building, there is a vertical groove alongside which the numbers from 1 to 24 are marked, serving as individual floors. Each day in December, you move the figure down one level and watch as Christmas Eve approaches. Instead of chocolate or small gifts, you receive a humorous decoration that you can bring out year after year.

The façade of the skyscraper is printed with delicate light lines representing windows, which stand out against the blue-grey background. At the bottom, there is an entrance hall with marked details, and the entire structure is supported by an oval base, into which the building's board is inserted. This version features a classic design with a flat roof, without any decorative top piece.

The principle of the calendar is very simple and can be managed by children as well. At the beginning of December, the figure stands at the top by number 1, and each subsequent day you move it down one level. On Christmas Eve, it reaches number 24 at the level of the entrance hall, and the advent is over. The calendar does not require batteries or refilling, and you can start using it at any time during advent; just set the figure to the current day. The flat skyscraper with a fine window pattern fits well in a modern flat or office, bringing a touch of Christmas spirit to the work environment.

  • Type – wooden advent calendar with sliding figure
  • Shape – skyscraper with a flat roof
  • Material – wood
  • Dimensions – approximately 13 x 23 cm
  • Countdown – numbers 1 to 24 along the vertical groove
  • Colour scheme – blue-grey façade with light lines
  • Placement – table, shelf, dresser, or windowsill
  • Contents – wooden board of the skyscraper with numbered groove, oval base, and figure

Assembly is straightforward: insert the skyscraper board into the cutouts in the base and place the figure in the groove on the first level. The calendar only needs to be wiped occasionally with a dry or slightly damp cloth; do not leave the wood in moisture for long. Outside the Christmas season, you can store it in a box or drawer, as it takes up little space when disassembled.

The wooden calendar in the shape of a skyscraper is a fun alternative to traditional advent calendars with windows. It is suitable for adults who appreciate original Christmas decorations with a sense of humour, as well as a small gift for a friend, colleague, or partner. With a height of approximately 23 cm, it does not obstruct but is still clearly visible on the table. The daily movement of the figure quickly becomes a small family ritual that makes the December wait more enjoyable. The calendar consumes nothing and will serve you well in the coming years.
