The muzzle basket is made of breathable mesh with small hexagonal openings that allow air to flow freely. The muzzle is lightweight, so it does not unnecessarily burden the dog while wearing it. It stays in place on the head with a strap that goes behind the ears, and another strap that runs from the top of the basket across the forehead between the eyes. The edges of the basket and the straps are trimmed to keep the muzzle in shape and fit comfortably against the snout.
