Massage chairs

Massage-studio relaxation at home — a chair that kneads the back, neck and legs after a demanding day. Massage chairs include models with a 2D and 3D roller system, an SL-track following the spine, airbags, heating and a zero-gravity position. They differ in massage range, programs, size and equipment, so you will find a compact chair for the apartment or a premium model with full-body massage.

Massage chairs

A massage chair brings home the relaxation you would otherwise go to a studio for — just sit down, start a program and let the mechanism work. Massage chairs suit resting after work, loosening up the back and neck and stretching the legs. They are chosen by massage range, functions, the user's height and the space in the room.

The massage system and techniques form the basis. 2D rollers move up, down and to the sides, 3D rollers additionally push forward and change the intensity, and the SL-track follows the curve of the spine from the neck all the way to the buttocks. Kneading, tapping, shiatsu and rolling alternate depending on the program, and airbags add a pressure massage for the arms, shoulders and calves.

Programs and functions extend the comfort. Automatic programs offer ready-made sequences for relaxing, stretching or falling asleep, and the body scan adapts the roller movement to body height. The zero-gravity position takes the load off the spine, the heating warms the lower back, and the foot and calf massage loosens the legs; some models add Bluetooth speakers and control via an app.

Choice and placement settle the practical side. The length of the SL-track and the reach of the leg rest are chosen to match the user's height, and the faux leather or fabric cover is easy to maintain. The chair extends when fully reclined, so enough room should be left behind and in front of it, and it is worth checking the load capacity and power draw depending on who uses it and how often.
