Bike chains
You’ll find chains for single-speed bikes and 6 to 12-speed drivetrains, for road and mountain bikes. All come with a quick link for easy joining. Number of speeds, chain width and link count are what matter when choosing.
Bike chains
The core of the range is 6–12-speed chains with a 1/2″ pitch. For 6–8 speeds they are 3/32″ wide, for 9–12 speeds mostly a narrower 11/128″. Most have 116 links, some 12-speed models 126 links. Before fitting, the chain is shortened to the length the bike needs.
For more demanding riding there are semi-hollow and hollow versions for 9–12 speeds. Some models are non-directional, so they can be fitted either way round, and according to the manufacturer they resist wear and corrosion better. The chains suit mountain and road bikes with the matching number of speeds.
For single-speed and fixed-gear bikes there is a 1/2″ × 1/8″ chain with 100 links. A quick link comes with every chain and makes it easy to open the chain for cleaning or replacement. Replace a worn chain in good time, as it speeds up wear on the cassette and chainrings.
How we rank results
We determine the order of offers in search results and in category listings automatically, according to the rules below. No seller is given priority in the ranking, and it is not possible to pay us for a better position.
Search (default sorting “Relevance”): we show offers that match the search term, including those with a small deviation or only a partial match. Their order depends most on how popular the offer is with customers. If you have accepted cookies, the next biggest factor is which categories and offer attributes you have viewed during your current visit. It also matters how popular the offer is for that search term, how closely it matches the term and how popular its category is for that term.
Categories (default sorting “Best Sellers”): the offers that sell the most appear at the top.
Sorting by price: if you choose Price: Low to High or Price: High to Low, we sort by price including VAT only.
