The TRI Clarion silicone tips set includes replacement tips for in-ear monitor (IEM) earphones in three sizes, allowing you to easily choose the one that fits best in your ear. The package contains 3 pairs – one pair of size S, M and L. The outer diameter of the tips is 11.3 mm for size S, 12.6 mm for size M, and 14 mm for size L. All sizes have a height of 9 mm and an inner hole diameter of 4.6 mm. The body of the tips is made of soft transparent silicone, and you can distinguish the sizes by the colour of the core.
The Clarion tips feature a firmer core and a soft sidewall connected by injection moulding. The internal channel widens outward into a funnel shape, and a reflective groove in its wall focuses sound into the ear, rather than dispersing it. This design addresses the loss of detail at low volumes that occurs with standard tips that have a straight channel. At the bottom of the core, there is a groove for the earphone tip, into which the tip fits, ensuring that the tip remains on the earphone when removing it from the ear. The reinforced core also limits twisting and deformation of the tip.

We recommend starting with size M and adjusting to smaller or larger tips based on comfort. The correctly chosen size fits snugly in the ear without causing pressure. When replacing, pull the original tip off the earphone stem and slide the new one on, ensuring that the edge of the stem fits into the groove in the core. Verify that your earphone stem matches the inner hole of 4.6 mm. The tips can simply be wiped with a damp cloth and left to dry before the next use.
The set of three sizes is practical for anyone who is unsure which tip will suit them best or wants to have replacements available for different users. Sizes with diameters from 11.3 to 14 mm cover both smaller and larger ear canals, and the coloured core makes them easy to distinguish.
