TRI Clarion silicone tips in size L are replacement tips for IEM earphones, designed for larger ear canals. The package contains 3 pairs in size L, providing a stock for when the original tips are lost or worn out. The outer diameter of the tip is 14 mm, height 9 mm, and the diameter of the inner hole is 4.6 mm. The soft transparent silicone adapts to the shape of the ear and helps keep the earphones in the ear canal. Inside the tip is a firmer brown core.
In the Clarion tips, the core and soft sidewall are joined by injection moulding. The channel inside expands outward into a funnel shape, and the reflective groove in its wall concentrates sound into the ear, reducing dispersion. This design addresses the loss of detail at low volumes that ordinary tips with a straight channel experience. The bottom of the core features a groove for the earphone tip, allowing the tip to stay on the earphone when removing it from the ear. The reinforced core also prevents twisting and deformation of the tip. The transparent body highlights the coloured core, making it easy to distinguish size L from smaller sizes in the Clarion range. The soft edge of the tip compresses slightly when inserted into the ear, filling the opening of the ear canal.

Changing the tips takes only a moment. Simply pull the original tip off the earphone stem and slide the new one on, ensuring the edge of the stem fits into the groove in the core. Before ordering, please verify that your earphone stem matches the inner hole diameter of 4.6 mm. The tips can be wiped with a damp cloth as needed and left to dry before the next use. Replace any worn or loose tips with new ones to ensure the earphones remain secure in the ear. Store replacement tips in a dry place and out of direct sunlight. If size L feels tight in your ear, try a smaller size from the same range.
Size L is especially appreciated by users with wider ear canals, for whom smaller tips do not stay in place or fall out. The 14 mm diameter fills larger ear canals, and the soft transparent silicone remains comfortable even during extended listening sessions. The core with a groove secures the tip on the stem, and the funnel-shaped channel helps to concentrate sound. Three pairs of the same size in one package allow you to regularly change the tips.
