Net Pots for Hydroponics 50 pcs Ø 5 cm Height 5 cm Black Plastic Pots from ABS with Wide Rim for Salads and Herbs
You already have the maximum available quantity in your cart.
Net pots for hydroponics are designed for growing plants without soil in hydroponic systems as well as for seedling propagation. The package contains 50 pcs of identical pots, sufficient for an entire growing tray or several tubes at once. Each pot has a top diameter including the rim of 5 cm and a height of 5 cm. The slotted walls and perforated base allow roots to freely grow into the nutrient solution and access air. The wide rim rests on the edge of the hole in the growing tray, the lid of the container, or the tube, allowing the body of the pot to hang down towards the root zone.
The pots are made from ABS plastic in black and feature rounded edges that do not press into fingers during handling. The internal diameter of the top opening is 38 mm, making it easy to insert a block of mineral wool, growing sponge, or another hydroponic substrate with a seed or seedling. The 5 cm diameter pot is a versatile choice for salads, herbs, and other leafy greens in home hydroponic systems and NFT tubes. The base of the pot has a diameter of 33.5 mm, and due to its tapered shape, the pot easily fits into the prepared hole. The taller body of the pot accommodates enough substrate, allowing roots to grow into the root zone with the solution.
- Type – net pot for hydroponics and soil-free cultivation
- Material – ABS plastic
- Colour – black
- Top diameter including rim – 5 cm
- Internal diameter of opening – 38 mm
- Base diameter – 33.5 mm
- Height – 5 cm
- Construction – slotted walls, perforated base, and wide supporting rim
- Suitable for – hydroponic systems, NFT tubes, growing trays, and seedling propagation
- Contents – 50 pcs of net pots (without substrate, seeds, and plants)
When planting, first soak the substrate block, insert the seed or seedling into it, and then push the entire block into the pot. Place the pot into the hole in the tray or tube so that the bottom touches the solution or is close to it until the roots grow through the slits. After harvesting, simply remove any remaining roots and substrate from the pots and wash them with warm water and a mild detergent. Store clean and dry pots away from direct sunlight until the next planting.
The set of 50 net pots is a practical foundation for home hydroponics, cultivation in NFT tubes, and seedling propagation on a windowsill. The dimension 5 x 5 cm determines which holes and for which plants the pots are suitable, so compare the diameter of the holes in your system before purchasing. The slotted design promotes natural root growth and air exchange in the root zone. The black ABS plastic is lightweight, and the pots are easy to clean and store. Thanks to the uniform size of all pieces, you will create a clear and orderly growing system for herbs, salads, and other vegetables.
