Overview
Net Pots for Hydroponics 50 pcs Ø 4.5 cm Height 3.5 cm Black Plastic Pots from ABS with Wide Rim for Seedlings and Herbs

Net pots for hydroponics are designed for growing plants without soil in hydroponic systems as well as for pre-growing seedlings. The package contains 50 pcs of identical pots, making it sufficient for an entire growing tray or several tubes at once. Each pot has a top diameter including the rim of 4.5 cm and a height of 3.5 cm. The slotted walls and perforated base allow roots to freely grow into the nutrient solution and have access to air. The wide rim rests on the edge of the opening in the growing tray, container lid, or tube, allowing the body of the pot to hang down towards the root zone.

The pots are made of ABS plastic in black and have rounded edges that do not press into fingers during handling. The internal diameter of the top opening is 31 mm, so you can easily insert a cube of mineral wool, growing sponge, or another hydroponic substrate with a seed or seedling. The low pot with a diameter of 4.5 cm is suitable for pre-growing seedlings, herbs, and young leafy greens in trays or NFT tubes with smaller openings. The base of the pot has a diameter of 26 mm and, due to its tapered shape, the pot easily fits into the prepared opening. The low profile is useful where there is only a small distance between the tray and the level of the solution.

  • Type – net pot for hydroponics and soil-less cultivation
  • Material – ABS plastic
  • Colour – black
  • Top diameter including rim – 4.5 cm
  • Internal diameter of the opening – 31 mm
  • Diameter of the base – 26 mm

When planting, first soak the substrate cube, insert a seed or seedling into it, and push the entire block into the pot. Then place the pot into the opening in the tray or tube so that the bottom touches the solution or is close to it until the roots grow through the slits. After harvesting, simply remove any remaining roots and substrate from the pots and wash them with warm water and a mild detergent. Store the clean and dry pots away from direct sunlight until the next planting.

A set of 50 net pots is a practical foundation for home hydroponics, cultivation in NFT tubes, and pre-growing seedlings on a windowsill. The dimension 4.5 x 3.5 cm determines which openings and for which plants the pots are suitable, so compare the diameter of the openings in your system before purchase. The slotted design supports natural root growth and air exchange in the root zone. The black ABS plastic is lightweight, and the pots are easy to clean and store. Due to the uniform size of all pieces, you will create a clear and regular growing system for herbs, salads, and other vegetables.
