The low feeding arena with four modules is a flat run for ants that easily connects with the nest of a modular formicarium. The frame in a 2 x 2 module arrangement has dimensions of 120 x 120 x 37 mm, taking up little vertical space and fitting well alongside other components. It is topped with a transparent lid featuring four black handles and a brass connector. The base of the arena has a light textured surface on which ants move while foraging. The arena is suitable for most commonly kept species of ants.

Around the grey frame, there are 8 entry holes with a diameter of 10 mm, through which you can connect the arena to the nest or other modules of the same series. According to the manufacturer's specifications, a water feeder and waste area can also be connected to the arena, sold separately. The low design is practical where you want the entire setup to be compact and tidy. Thanks to the transparent lid, you can see inside without opening it. The arena can be used as an enclosure for a single nest or as a shared space that connects several nesting modules simultaneously. The distribution of entrances around the perimeter allows flexibility in planning the setup and also facilitates later modifications.

Assemble the arena according to the images and place it on a flat surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Connect the nest through one of the entry holes and leave the unused ones closed. Insert food after removing the lid and regularly remove leftovers to keep the arena clean and the colony healthy. Wipe the lid and walls as needed with a soft cloth. As the colony grows, you can easily connect the arena with other modules and expand the setup.
