Overview
LED Bulbs H4 9003 HB2 Hi/Lo Main and Dipped Beam Lights Set of 2 3.5 x 7.5 x 1.4 cm 5570 CSP Chips and Black Heat Sink White 6000 K For Car

These two LED bulbs are designed for H4 (9003/HB2) sockets, which are for headlights with H4 halogen bulbs. The bulbs are in Hi/Lo configuration, so they handle both main and dipped beam lights. The source of white light with a temperature of 6000 K is the 5570 CSP chips. The black ribbed heat sink occupies the lower part of the bulb and is separated from the base by a red ring. The dimensions are 3.5 x 7.5 x 1.4 cm per unit.

  • H4, 9003 and HB2 — all three designations refer to the same socket. In Europe, the term H4 is commonly used, whereas in other regions, 9003 or HB2 is more prevalent.
  • Main and dipped beam — Hi/Lo in the name means that each bulb serves for both dipped and main beam lights, just like the original dual-filament halogen bulb H4. Switching between them remains the same as before, using the lever under the steering wheel.
  • Illuminating chips — on the base of each bulb, there is one array of 5570 CSP chips, located closer to its upper end. The light base is complemented by black graphics.
  • White colour — the value of 6000 K corresponds to white light without a yellowish tint, which is typical of H4 halogen bulbs.
  • Cooling — the black ribbed heat sink is the widest part of the bulb and dissipates heat from the chips into the surrounding air. The ribs have the same black finish as the rest of the body.
  • Dimensions and space — the heat sink extends the bulb, so it is advisable to measure the space behind the headlight before purchasing. Also, consider that the headlight cover must be able to be reattached.
  • Type verification — you can identify type H4 by the markings on the original bulb or in the vehicle manual. The halogen H4 has three protrusions and three contacts on the base.
  • Both headlights — cars with H4 sockets typically have one bulb in each main headlight, so a set of two units will cover both the left and right sides. After replacing both units, the light colour will be the same on the left and right.
  • H4 replacement — after turning off the lights, wait for the halogen bulb to cool down, then remove it. Install the new LED bulb as the original was installed and secure it with the headlight clip.
  • Check both modes — after installation, switch between dipped and main beam lights and verify that both bulbs illuminate in both modes. If necessary, entrust the adjustment of the headlights to a service.
  • Road use — LED replacements in halogen headlights are subject to road traffic regulations. Before using them, verify what applies to your vehicle.

Contents of the package:

  • 2x LED Bulb H4 for main and dipped beam lights

A pair of LED bulbs H4 (9003/HB2) Hi/Lo will replace halogen bulbs in both main headlights. The bulbs provide white light 6000 K for both dipped and main beam lights. The black ribbed heat sink and red ring are the same for both units. The measurement 3.5 x 7.5 x 1.4 cm will assist you in checking the space behind the headlight. The set can be used in cars with halogen bulbs H4, 9003 or HB2.
