The set includes two LED bulbs with a 9012 (HIR2) base, designed for the headlights of passenger cars as a replacement for halogen HIR2 bulbs. The light source is provided by 5570 CSP chips mounted on a flat carrier at the top of each bulb. The light colour is white with a colour temperature of 6000 K. The body of the bulb is black and transitions at the bottom into a heat sink with longitudinal fins. Each bulb measures 3.5 x 7.5 x 1.4 cm.
- Designation 9012 and HIR2 — both designations 9012 and HIR2 describe the same type of base. In some cars, this base is used for dipped or main beam lights, but the exact fitting depends on the car model.
- 5570 CSP chips — LED chips designated 5570 CSP have a yellow luminous area divided into several smaller sections.
- White 6000 K — halogen HIR2 bulbs emit a yellower light, whereas these LED bulbs provide white light at 6000 K. This light matches the white LED elements on the front of the vehicle.
- Appearance of the Carrier — on the light surface of the carrier, there is a distinctive black pattern that frames the area with the chips.
- Black Heat Sink — the heat sink is black and features vertical fins all around, which increase its surface area for dissipating heat from the LED chips. There is a red ring at the transition between the base and the heat sink.
- Both Sides of the Vehicle — the bulbs are sold in pairs. After replacing them on both sides, one headlight will not shine white while the other emits a warmer halogen light.
- Check Before Purchase — before ordering, ensure that your vehicle uses 9012 (HIR2) bulbs. The designation can be found on the base of the original bulb or in the vehicle's manual.
- Space Behind the Headlight — with dimensions of 3.5 x 7.5 x 1.4 cm, the rear part of the bulb with the heat sink requires sufficient free space. Therefore, measure the depth behind the headlight, including space for the cover.
- During Installation — replace the halogen bulb only when the headlight has cooled down. Grip the new LED bulb by the black heat sink and insert it into the headlight in the same position as the original.
- Test After Connection — immediately after connection, check if both bulbs are illuminated. If the shape or height of the light beam has changed after replacement, have the headlight alignment checked at a service centre.
- Use in Traffic — for driving on public roads, the vehicle's lighting must comply with applicable regulations. Therefore, check what applies to your vehicle before installing LED bulbs in halogen headlights.
