The package contains two LED car bulbs with a 9006 base for passenger cars that use halogen bulbs of this type in their headlights. When switched on, the bulbs emit cool white light at 6000 K, which is whiter than halogen light. The operating voltage required is 12 V, and the product specifications indicate a power of 300 W. The yellow LED chips are positioned in a frame on a flat carrier at the top of the bulb. The silver cooler with slanted fins and a cylindrical end forms the lower part of the bulb.
- Use of 9006 base — the 9006 base is used in many vehicles for dipped headlights, and in some cases for fog lights as well. To be sure, verify the type according to the marking on the original bulb or in the vehicle's manual.
- Order code — the set has the code K69-9006-6K, which distinguishes it from similar sets with a different base.
- Cool light tone — the colour temperature of 6000 K falls into the cool white category. The bulbs illuminate the surroundings in front of the car with a white tone, while halogen gives a yellowish light.
- Illuminating chips — the chips with a yellow layer are divided into several small rectangles and lie in a frame on a flat carrier. Above the frame, the carrier has a small opening.
- Fin design of the cooler — the fins of the cooler are slanted and wrap around it completely, allowing heat from the chips to dissipate into the air under the bonnet. Below the fins, the cooler ends with a grooved cylinder.
- Vehicles with 12 V — the set is designed for cars whose onboard network operates at 12 V. It is not suitable for vehicles with a double voltage of 24 V.
- Replacement in pairs — both bulbs have the same specifications, so it is advisable to replace them simultaneously in both the left and right headlights. This way, the lights on both sides will not be colour mismatched.
- Mounting depth — the LED bulb is longer than the halogen bulb 9006 due to the cooler. If there is little space behind the headlight, it may be difficult to replace the cover.
- Bulb replacement — first turn off the lights and wait for the original bulb to cool down. Then remove it, insert the 9006 LED bulb in the same way, and secure it. Protect the area with the chips from fingerprints.
- Light test — after replacement, turn on the lights and ensure that both bulbs illuminate and the light beam is directed at the road as before. If not, consult a service for adjustment.
- Road traffic regulations — the use of LED bulbs in halogen headlights on public roads is subject to local regulations. Verify them before installing the set.
