Overview
LED Bulbs 9005 HB3 for Cars Pair with 5570 CSP Chips 3.5 x 7.5 x 1.4 cm Black Body and Red Ring White 6000 K Replacement for Halogen 9005

These two LED bulbs feature a 9005 (HB3) base and are designed to replace halogen bulbs of the same type. The light is provided by 5570 CSP chips on a narrow beam at the top of the bulb. The bulbs emit white light with a temperature of 6000 K. The body of each bulb is black, with a heatsink covered in fins and a red ring at the top. For size reference: one bulb measures 3.5 x 7.5 x 1.4 cm.

  • Two designations for one base — the base is sold under two names, 9005 and HB3. Either designation may be indicated on the original bulb. In headlights, 9005 is often used for high beam lights, but this depends on the car model.
  • Light block — the yellow area with chips is located at the top of the beam, and the rest of the beam is adorned with black graphics on a light background.
  • Colour temperature — the value of 6000 K gives the light a white colour. Compared to halogen 9005 bulbs, which emit a yellow light, the difference is immediately noticeable. White light also matches better with LED daytime running lights, if the vehicle is equipped with them.
  • Black body with heatsink — the heatsink made up of a series of fins occupies the lower part of the bulb and is black. Air flows between the fins, dissipating heat from the chips.
  • Colour detail — between the heatsink and the top of the bulb is a narrow red stripe that contrasts with the black body.
  • Size and placement — with dimensions of 3.5 x 7.5 x 1.4 cm, the bulb takes up more space behind the headlight than a halogen 9005, mainly due to the heatsink. Therefore, check if it fits behind the headlight with the cover.
  • Where to find the designation — the type of base is usually embossed on the metal or plastic part of the original bulb. If the inscription is poorly legible, the vehicle's manual or an auto parts catalogue can help.
  • Pair in packaging — when replacing both bulbs at once, there will be no risk of each headlight shining a different colour. Both bulbs have the same design and light colour.
  • Replacement procedure — work with the lights off and the bulb cooled down. Install the new LED bulb 9005 just as the original was secured, and do not touch the chips during installation.
  • After turning on the lights — check that both sides are lit and that the light is hitting the road as before. If not, have the headlights adjusted at an auto service.
  • Rules for LED — not all halogen headlights can legally use LED bulbs on the road. Therefore, consult the applicable rules in advance, for example, at a service centre or a technical inspection station.
