The grafting set includes a folding grafting knife and a roll of grafting tape, providing everything needed for inserting a graft and wrapping the grafting site. The knife measures 17.8 cm when opened, and the blade length is 6.6 cm. The blade is made of stainless steel and features a curved tip that helps guide a precise cut through the bark. After use, the blade folds into the handle, making the knife compact for pocket storage.
At the end of the handle, there is a bark lifter in the form of a flat black tip, which is used to lift the bark of the rootstock after making a T-shaped cut and insert the graft. The handle is black and secured with gold-coloured rivets. The manufacturer's name is engraved on the blade. The knife is suitable for grafting apple, pear, cherry, apricot, peach trees, and roses.
Also included in the set is a roll of white translucent grafting tape with a width of 3 cm. The tape is wrapped around the grafting site after joining the rootstock and the graft to ensure both parts are in close contact and the cut surfaces do not dry out. You can cut off exactly as much tape as needed for the specific graft. It is suitable for both grafting and budding fruit trees and bushes. Once the graft has taken and starts to sprout, carefully cut or unwrap the tape to avoid constricting the growing branch.

After each use, wipe the blade clean of plant juices and dirt, and allow it to dry before folding. When working on multiple trees, it is advisable to clean the blade regularly to prevent the transfer of diseases between plants. Occasionally clean the hinge of the blade from dust and remnants of bark to ensure the knife opens and closes smoothly. Store the knife folded in a dry place and out of reach of children. To maintain sharpness, it is advisable to occasionally hone the blade on a fine sharpening stone.

How do I return goods?
- Email us at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the items you are returning.
- Pack the goods and send them by post to the returns address in Spain.

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).

If the variant is available, we will send you instructions for the exchange. You pay the cost of sending the original item back; the new variant will be sent to you at no further charge.
