The cyanotype kit includes 32 sheets of light-sensitive paper and one transparent cover sheet, which allows you to create blue and white prints of plants, flowers, and small objects. The sun printing technique works simply: place selected shapes on the paper, cover them with the sheet, and let sunlight work its magic. After exposure, rinse the sheet in water and a white silhouette will appear on the blue background. The A5 format measuring 14.8 x 21 cm is large enough for a whole twig or a composition of several leaves. Children can create with the help of adults, as well as adults seeking a calming creative activity.
The cover sheet measuring 14 x 21 cm and 1 mm thick is protected by a film upon delivery, which you should remove before use. The sheet presses items against the paper to prevent them from shifting during exposure. Exposure usually takes 5 to 15 minutes until the paper visibly changes colour. When the sun is not shining, you can also expose the paper using a UV lamp. Rinsing in water takes about one minute, then allow the sheet to dry in the shade.

The paper is light-sensitive, so unwrap it just before use and return the remaining sheets to a closed container away from light. With prolonged storage, the sensitivity of the paper decreases, so it is best to use it within six months. Finished images should be dried flat and in the shade to prevent warping and further fading. Before you start, prepare a bowl of clean water or a spot by the sink so you can rinse the sheet immediately after exposure. It is advisable to press and dry the plants beforehand, as flat leaves adhere better to the paper and their outline becomes clearer. Interesting results can also be achieved with lace, feathers, paper stencils, or small household items.
The package with 32 sheets provides enough paper for experiments with various plants, exposure times, and compositions. It is suitable for art education, clubs, camps, and shared afternoons with children in the garden. The finished prints can be framed, glued into a journal, or used as greeting cards and bookmarks. Each image is unique, as the shapes and arrangement of the leaves used differ. The transparent sheet with a thickness of 1 mm can be reused for all sheets in the package.

How do I return goods?
- Email us at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the items you are returning.
- Pack the goods and send them by post to the returns address in Spain.

- We will settle your claim within 30 days at the latest – with a new item, a price reduction or a refund.
If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).

Write to us within 30 days of receipt at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the variant you are interested in. We usually reply within 24 hours.
If the variant is available, we will send you instructions for the exchange. You pay the cost of sending the original item back; the new variant will be sent to you at no further charge.
