Behind-the-Head Winter Earmuffs with Sound Grilles Plush Lining and Flannel Trim for Snowboarding and Walks

Behind-the-head winter earmuffs keep your ears warm on freezing days without covering the top of your head. The connecting band runs around the back of the head, so you can wear them on their own, with a hat or with a jacket hood. The large oval ear cups enclose the whole ear and are protected on the inside by a warm plush lining. On the outside of each ear cup there is a metal sound grille that helps you hear better what is happening around you. The earmuffs are designed for adults and are suitable for skiing, snowboarding, walks and the daily commute to work.

The outside of the ear cups is covered with fine fabric with a soft surface and the edges are finished with a flannel trim that sits comfortably on the skin around the ear. The sound grilles are on both ear cups, so you hear sound equally from both sides. You will appreciate this when chatting with friends on the slopes, when moving along the street in heavy traffic and at the stop where you want to hear the announcements. The earmuffs have no buckles or fasteners, so you can put them on and take them off in one movement and just as quickly tuck them into your bag. The band behind the head holds the ear cups on your ears without pressing on the top of your head, which makes the earmuffs easy to combine with a hat, headband, jacket hood or ponytail.

To put the earmuffs on, simply slide the band around the back of your head and place the ear cups over your ears. If they get damp from snow, let them dry naturally when you get home, and store them so that the ear cups are not squashed under heavy objects. The plush lining can be gently wiped with a damp cloth as needed and left to dry at room temperature away from direct heat sources.
