This ant farm made of transparent acrylic serves as a feeding and observation arena for ant keepers who want a perfect overview of the activities in the colony. The box measuring 10.5 x 9.5 x 5 cm is transparent on all sides, allowing you to comfortably observe the ants searching for food from any angle. On the side wall, there is a securely attached holder into which two tubes with a nest are inserted, allowing the ants to freely move between the nest and the arena. The arena is supplied as a construction kit that you can assemble and screw together with the included screws. It is suitable for both beginner and more experienced keepers with a smaller colony or with a young queen and her first workers.
The arena's lid features a rotating cover for the feeding hole, which is held by a metal screw with a knurled head. Simply rotate the cover, insert the food, and close it again, so you do not need to open the lid fully during feeding, keeping the ants calm. There are ventilation slits in the lid and side walls that ensure air exchange inside the arena. The tube holder is made up of several layers of acrylic with connecting corridors, and on the opposite side of the box, there is a side panel with two circular openings.

Before introducing the ants, carefully assemble the arena, check that all parts fit well, and tighten the screws appropriately. Insert the tubes with the nest into the holder so that their open end connects to the corridors leading into the arena. Insert food through the hole in the lid and regularly remove any food remnants to prevent moisture accumulation and mould formation in the arena. Clean the acrylic walls only with a soft cloth dampened with water, as rough sponges and aggressive cleaning agents can scratch the surface and reduce transparency.
The feeding arena is a practical addition for anyone who keeps ants in tubes and wants to provide the colony with a safe space for foraging. The side holder accommodates two tubes 18 x 180 mm, which you can choose according to the needs of your colony. The transparent walls allow you to observe the ants while feeding and moving between the nest and the arena. It is supplied as a construction kit, which you can assemble with a standard cross screwdriver. Tubes and ants are not included in the package.

How do I return goods?

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).

If the variant is available, we will send you instructions for the exchange. You pay the cost of sending the original item back; the new variant will be sent to you at no further charge.
