The aluminium clamp with a ball head is a sturdy base for attaching a phone, navigation device, or action camera holder. The body is machined from CNC aluminium alloy with an anodised surface that resists wear, pressure, and corrosion. At the top, there is a ball head with a diameter of 25 mm, which can be used with the arms and holders of the RAM Mounts system. The clamp fits onto the handlebars of motorcycles, bicycles, quad bikes, or UTVs. It is also suitable for crash bars, shock absorbers, or luggage racks.
The clamp opens in the range of 14–40 mm, making it suitable for both thin and thick tubes. It tightens manually using a wing screw, so installation can be done without tools. Inside the jaws, there are embedded anti-slip rubber pads with a four-point positioning groove that keep the clamp in place and prevent scratching the handlebars' surface. The enlarged base increases the contact area and grip strength, limiting deflection under load. The ball head has a matte anti-slip surface, ensuring that the holder's joint is securely tightened.
This clamp is designed for riders who want to position their phone or navigation device exactly where they can see it well. Thanks to the joint connection with the arm, the holder can be rotated to the required angle and tilt, and by tightening the joint, it can be secured in that position. The base can be mounted on the handlebars, but also on the crash bar tube, on the shock absorber, or on the luggage rack, as shown in the sample photographs. The firm connection of the ball joint with the arm is also suitable for riding on uneven terrain, where it is necessary for the holder to remain stationary. On the sides of the body, there are holes with 1/4" threads, into which additional accessories, such as an action camera holder, can be screwed. Thus, one clamp can be used for multiple devices at once. Before riding, always check that the wing screw is firmly tightened. It is advisable to wipe the clamp with a damp cloth after riding in the rain or mud and let it dry, keeping the joint and jaws clean and functional.
