Wood for crafts and model making

Wood for crafts and model making
For mock-ups, models and architectural studies, balsa sheets come 1–8 mm thick in sizes from 100 × 100 to 300 × 100 mm. Balsa is a very light wood that's easy to cut, sand, glue and stain. Thin sheets suit fine details, thicker ones sturdy parts. Limewood sheets of 15 × 10 cm and wooden squares 2 mm thick also offer a smooth surface.
Build frameworks, masts, railings or fences from bamboo sticks and square rods. Round sticks are 2–8 mm in diameter and 20–40 cm long, square rods have a 5 × 5 mm cross-section and strips are 5–20 mm wide and 200 mm long. Bamboo is strong and light, and you can cut, sand, glue and varnish it.
For painting, pyrography and small decorations there are wooden blanks to decorate. Natural wood slices measure 3–12 cm across and mini cubes have 1 cm edges. Tags of 12 × 3.2 cm with a hole and string work as name tags and gift tags. Fluted dowels 6–10 mm in diameter firmly join the parts of your own projects.
How we rank results
We determine the order of offers in search results and in category listings automatically, according to the rules below. No seller is given priority in the ranking, and it is not possible to pay us for a better position.
Search (default sorting “Relevance”): what counts is how well an offer matches the search term. Offers that match the term exactly appear at the top, followed by offers with a small deviation (for example a typo) and finally offers that only partly match it.
Categories (default sorting “Best Sellers”): the offers that sell the most appear at the top.
Sorting by price: if you choose Price: Low to High or Price: High to Low, we sort by price including VAT only.
