The Book Nook Construction Set Chinese Alley with Food Stalls brings the atmosphere of an evening market to your library. Once assembled, it creates a narrow street lined with two-storey houses, restaurants, and street stalls, under which hang rows of red lanterns. The finished model measures 18.5 x 8.5 x 17 cm, allowing it to fit into the gap between books just like another volume. On the outside, it is covered with a brown fabric book-shaped cover with a label and decorative tassel. The scene is illuminated by LED lights hidden in the individual shops, making the alley appear as a glimpse into a lively night-time city.

You assemble the entire scene yourself from pre-cut wooden pieces, complemented by small items made of fabric, paper, plastic, and metal. Gradually, a cobbled street emerges, shop windows filled with vegetables and dishes, tables with miniature food, a kitchen with a brick wall, and a small theatre stage with a red curtain. When you unfold the cover, both sides of the alley open to a width of 45.5 cm, allowing you to display the scene as a standalone panoramic decoration. Working with the small pieces requires patience and a steady hand, but the reward is a model full of details that can be discovered time and again.
