The blind spot monitoring system BSD operates with two 24 GHz radar sensors, which are installed at the rear of the vehicle. The sensors monitor the area beside and behind the car that the driver cannot see in the side mirrors. When a vehicle enters the blind spot, a yellow LED indicator at the mirror on the corresponding side lights up. If the indicator is activated at that moment, the system additionally alerts with an acoustic signal from the buzzer. The lane change assistant helps when driving on the motorway and in the city during rain, snow, fog, and at night.
- Blind Spot Monitoring — radar sensors monitor the area beside the rear of the vehicle and alert to a vehicle that is in the blind spot or approaching quickly.
- Lane Change Assistant — when the indicator is on and a vehicle is in the blind spot, an acoustic warning sounds, so you know that changing to the adjacent lane is not safe.
- Reversing Warning (RCTA) — when exiting a parking space, the radar detects vehicles approaching from the side, and the indicators at both mirrors start flashing. This is particularly useful when reversing between parked cars, where side visibility is limited.
- Door Opening Warning (DOW) — after stopping, the system monitors traffic up to 15 m behind the vehicle. If a car or cyclist is approaching, the flashing indicator alerts the driver and passenger not to open the doors yet. This function operates as long as the system is powered.
- Operation in All Weather — 24 GHz radars work even in rain, snow, fog, and at night when visibility in the mirrors is impaired.
- Adjustable Buzzer — the volume of the acoustic alert can be switched to low or high, or completely turned off with the Off / Lo / Hi switch.
- Installation — radar sensors are placed inside the rear bumper on the left and right sides, LED indicators are adhered to the pillar or side mirrors. The wiring connects to the left and right indicator lights and to the power supply via a fuse tap.
- Package Contents — 2x radar sensor, 2x LED indicator, 1x buzzer, 1x main wiring harness, 1x power cable with fuse tap, 2x extension cable, 2x metal bracket.
The BSD system for blind spot monitoring is suitable for passenger cars that do not have a factory-installed lane change assistant. It combines visual and acoustic alerts for lane changes, reversing from a parking space, and opening doors. The two radar sensors operate independently of visibility, thus assisting even at night or in poor weather conditions. The buzzer can be muted or turned off as needed. Installation requires the removal of the rear bumper and connection to the indicator lights, so we recommend installation at a service centre.

How do I return goods?
- Email us at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the items you are returning.
- Pack the goods and send them by post to the returns address in Spain.
- Send us the proof of dispatch with the tracking number – this lets us refund you without waiting for the parcel to arrive.

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
