Solar lanterns and hanging lights
Solar lanterns and hanging lights give a soft evening glow on a patio, balcony or in a tree without cables or a socket. They charge in the sun during the day and switch on by themselves at dusk. Choose from decorative lanterns, light-up wind chimes and practical hanging lights for a shed or summer house.
Solar lanterns and hanging lights
Decorative hanging lanterns come as metal cages, glass jars, bamboo baskets or watering cans with a flowing-water effect. Lanterns with a tree of life design cast patterned shadows, while those with an LED candle or flame effect recall a real fire. Hang them from a branch, pergola or stand, or place them on a table.
For a shed or summer house, lights with a separate panel on a 3 m cable work well: the panel goes outside in the sun and the light hangs indoors. They switch on with a pull cord or remote control. For the garden there are also light-up wind chimes with a hummingbird, butterfly or dragonfly, and a solar bulb that also charges via USB.
Hang the lantern where the panel gets direct sunlight, as the battery will not charge fully in the shade of a tree. Fully charged, it glows for up to 10 hours depending on the model, less in winter. If the lantern has a switch, turn it off in winter or during long absences so the battery does not drain needlessly.
How we rank results
We determine the order of offers in search results and in category listings automatically, according to the rules below. No seller is given priority in the ranking, and it is not possible to pay us for a better position.
Search (default sorting “Relevance”): what counts is how well an offer matches the search term. Offers that match the term exactly appear at the top, followed by offers with a small deviation (for example a typo) and finally offers that only partly match it.
Categories (default sorting “Best Sellers”): the offers that sell the most appear at the top.
Sorting by price: if you choose Price: Low to High or Price: High to Low, we sort by price including VAT only.
