Street lights of 47–62 cm have a built-in panel, and the 504-LED model has a 4,500 mAh battery. The motion sensor switches them to full brightness when someone walks past, and the remote changes the mode. Ceiling lights of 130–280 mm with a separate panel, IP67 rating and cool 6000 K light suit carports, sheds or pergolas.
With solar lights, wattage is only an indicative manufacturer figure; the number of LEDs and the battery capacity are a more reliable guide. Point the panel south, away from the shade of trees and roofs, and mount the street light as high as possible on a pole or wall so it covers a larger area.
