The capo operates on the principle of a lever clip. By pressing both arms, the jaws open, and upon release, the spring mechanism presses it against the neck of the guitar. This allows you to easily move the capo to another fret during a song or set it aside after playing. The rounded arms fit comfortably in the fingers, making it easy to handle even during quick song transitions. For the best results, place the capo just behind the fret wire, not in the middle of the space between the frets. Adjust the pressure using the wheel so that all strings sound clear but do not bend unnecessarily, and the instrument remains in tune. After playing, remove the capo and store it in a case or in a place where it will not be exposed to dust and moisture. The pads should be wiped occasionally with a dry or slightly damp cloth to prevent dirt buildup and to protect the fretboard. Do not overtighten the pressure wheel; with proper adjustment, a gentle squeeze is sufficient.
