The vest-style harness provides an alternative to narrow strap harnesses, as the pull of the lead is distributed across a wider area of the chest and back. The cat feels more secure in it because the fabric hugs the body and does not cut into the skin. The adjustable chest strap adapts to the animal's shape, and together with the side buckles, it keeps the vest in place even during sudden movements. The harness is designed for cats weighing 1.5-3 kg, which includes kittens and smaller adult cats. It is often challenging to find a harness that fits petite cats and prevents them from wriggling out backwards. The set is adorned with a 3D flower sewn onto the front of the vest, and the harness comes with a lead ending in a metal carabiner. The lead is made from the same ribbed fabric as the vest, giving the set a cohesive look.
- Vest construction — the wide piece across the chest and back distributes the pull of the lead, so the force is not concentrated on the neck.
- Adjustable chest strap — you can tighten the circumference under the chest precisely according to the cat's shape, and you can adjust it at any time.
- Side buckles — plastic buckles on both sides make it easy to put on the vest without pulling it over the head.
- Back loop for lead — the sewn fabric loops on the back piece keep the carabiner away from the neck and distribute the pull throughout the harness.
- Polyester material — both the vest and the lead are made from ribbed polyester, which retains its shape and is pleasant to the touch.
- Lead with carabiner — the metal carabiner with a spring lock can be attached and detached with one hand.
- 3D flower — the three-dimensional floral decoration is sewn onto the front of the vest between the shoulder pieces.
- For smaller cats — the weight range of 1.5-3 kg is suitable for both kittens and smaller adult cats.
- No pressure on the neck — the vest does not have a tightening collar, so pulling on the lead does not directly transfer to the cat's neck.
- Coordinated lead — the lead is made from the same ribbed fabric as the vest, creating a complete set.
- Easy removal — after unbuckling both buckles, you can take the vest off the cat in a matter of seconds.
Package contents:
- 1x cat harness in vest style
- 1x lead
The vest harness is suitable for the first outdoor adventures in the garden, trips to the balcony, or situations where you need to keep the cat close, such as in a waiting room at the vet's. Before heading outside, let your cat wear the vest for a few short moments at home to get used to the feeling of the fabric on its body. You can tell the correct tightness by ensuring that you can comfortably fit two fingers under the chest strap, but the cat cannot slip out of the vest. The plastic buckles on both sides can be unbuckled with one hand, which is handy when you are holding the cat in your arms. After the walk, you can roll up the vest and lead into a small bundle, so they take up minimal space in your bag or pocket. It is advisable to check the adjustment of the chest strap over time, as it may loosen slightly with frequent use. The set with lead and metal carabiner is ready for use immediately after unpacking and requires no additional accessories.
