Overview
Yellow Passion Fruit Seeds Passiflora edulis flavicarpa 500 pcs Climbing Vine with Edible Yellow Fruits and White Flowers For Greenhouse and Support

Passiflora edulis f. flavicarpa, yellow-fruited passion fruit, is a tropical climbing passionflower cultivated for its tasty yellow fruits. The round fruits ripen from green to deep yellow and conceal aromatic pulp full of seeds, as clearly shown in the image with both green and ripe yellow fruits. The fruits are edible and have a refreshing sweet and sour taste. The plant blooms with striking white flowers featuring a purple crown and climbs using tendrils, making it easy to cover a support. The package contains 500 seeds, providing a substantial supply for extensive sowing. It is grown in a pot with support, in a greenhouse, or conservatory.

Key Features:

  • Edible Yellow Fruits — round fruits ripen to a deep yellow colour and are edible, featuring aromatic pulp with a refreshing sweet and sour taste, suitable for direct consumption or in beverages.
  • White Flowers with Purple Crown — the plant blooms with striking white flowers adorned with a purple crown made of thin filaments, which are the main ornamental feature during the flowering period, as shown in the image.
  • Yellow-Fruited Form flavicarpa — a tropical form of edible passionflower with yellow fruits that you can grow from seeds and eventually harvest your own crop.
  • Climbing Vine — the plant climbs using tendrils and produces long climbing shoots that are suitable for training along supports, trellises, or pergolas.
  • Pot Cultivation — the plant can be grown in a pot with support and can be placed in a greenhouse, conservatory, or a sheltered outdoor location depending on space.
  • Utility and Ornamental — besides its delicious fruits, the plant blooms with striking passionflower blooms, thus combining utility with ornamental value.
  • Palmatifid Leaves — the plant has vibrant green palmatifid leaves that give the vine a dense appearance and complement its flowers and fruits.
  • Pack of 500 Seeds — the large pack is intended for extensive sowing, growing a large number of plants, repeated sowings over several seasons, and sharing with other growers.
  • Growing from Seeds — you have control over the entire development of the plant from germination to fruit harvest and can observe every phase of growth and flowering.
  • Suitable for Support — thanks to the tendrils, it easily covers a trellis, lattice, or pergola, serving as a natural green screen in the greenhouse.
