Wall Socket with Switch 40 cm Universal Rail Socket EU Standard, Aluminium, LED Backlight, for Kitchen, Bathroom and Office

The rail socket with switch replaces a traditional fixed socket and allows you to connect appliances anywhere along the 40 cm rail. The wall socket has a body made of aluminium, which resists corrosion and the usual wear and tear in kitchens, bathrooms, or offices. The socket adapters slide freely along the rail and can be added or removed at any time, allowing you to adjust the layout to your current equipment. Universal sockets accept EU standard plugs as well as other common types of plugs used in homes and workplaces. The power for the entire rail is controlled by a single switch located at its end.

  • Rated power 8000 W at a voltage of 250 V and a current of 32 A allows for the simultaneous operation of multiple appliances without the need for reconnection.
  • Dimensions of the rail: length 40 cm, width 8.6 cm, thickness 2 cm. The socket adapter has a diameter of 6.7 cm and a thickness of 3 cm.
  • Main switch at the end of the rail disconnects the power for the entire rail with a single press, without pulling plugs from the sockets.
  • Sliding adapters with rotary control: turning 90° to the right connects the adapter to the power supply, turning 45° to the left disconnects it, and turning 90° to the left allows it to slide freely along the rail.
  • Adapters can be added, removed, or rearranged at any time depending on how many appliances you are currently using.
  • The LED backlit ring at each socket indicates whether it is powered, which is useful in low light conditions.
  • A triple-sealed rubber strip protects the internal contacts from dust, water, and greasy vapours from cooking.
  • The aluminium body resists corrosion, and the components used are made from self-extinguishing material.
  • Concealed zero conductor wiring and wide copper busbars ensure safe and stable current transmission along the entire length of the rail.
  • Two mounting methods: adhesive without drilling with full load after 48 hours, or screwing onto mounting brackets.
  • The rail can be installed in place of an existing type 86 socket without new wiring, with the supply connected from the left or right, and the rail can be rotated as needed.
  • Suitable for walls in kitchens, under kitchen cabinets or worktops, in bathrooms, offices, living rooms, and bedrooms.

The rail socket addresses the lack of sockets where several appliances need to be connected side by side. Thanks to the sliding adapters, the electricity distribution adapts to the arrangement of the appliances, rather than the other way around. The adhesive installation is suitable for rented flats and finished kitchens, while the screw option is for where a permanent solution is required. The aluminium body, rubber sealing, and concealed wiring keep the contacts protected even in environments with water, dust, and grease. The switch on the rail facilitates everyday use and disconnection of appliances that should not remain powered, and the universal sockets can accommodate EU standard plugs as well as other common types.
