The UNI-T UT387LM combines a hidden object detector for walls and a laser distance meter in one compact device. It can find ferrous metals up to a depth of 100 mm, non-ferrous metals up to 80 mm, wooden beams and live wires in walls, ceilings, and floors. The laser distance meter measures distances in the range of 0.05 to 40 m with an accuracy of ±(2 mm + 5 x 10⁻⁵ D). All data is displayed on a 2.4-inch colour display and the device also announces it vocally. It is appreciated by electricians, builders, installers, and DIY enthusiasts who want to have fewer tools at hand while working.
The distance meter offers single and continuous measurements, area calculations, indirect measurements according to Pythagoras' theorem from one or two data points, and addition or subtraction of measured values. Results can be displayed in metres, feet, or inches, and the device can store up to 30 measurements for later reference. When searching for wood, you can choose between precise mode up to 20 mm and deep mode up to 38 mm, while live wires can be found up to a depth of 40 mm. The detector calibrates automatically and is powered by a built-in lithium battery that charges via USB-C.

Felt pads on the back ensure smooth movement along the wall and enhance accuracy during searches. The laser automatically turns off after 20 seconds, and the entire device powers down after 5 minutes of inactivity, conserving battery life. Do not look into the laser beam or aim it at others' eyes. After use, store the detector in the included case and keep the distance meter lens clean.
The UNI-T UT387LM replaces both a cable detector and a standalone distance meter, saving space in your tool kit. When installing a kitchen unit or shelves, it can find hidden pipes and cables in one step and immediately measure the required distances. With the 40 m laser distance meter, you can quickly calculate the area of a room before painting or laying flooring. Vocal announcements and a colour display make working in tight spaces easier. How do I return goods?
- Email us at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the items you are returning.
- Pack the goods and send them by post to the returns address in Spain.
- Send us the proof of dispatch with the tracking number – this lets us refund you without waiting for the parcel to arrive.

- We will assess it and suggest a solution. Photographs are usually enough – please do not send the goods back until you have received instructions from us.
- We will settle your claim within 30 days at the latest – with a new item, a price reduction or a refund.
If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).

Write to us within 30 days of receipt at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the variant you are interested in. We usually reply within 24 hours.
If the variant is available, we will send you instructions for the exchange. You pay the cost of sending the original item back; the new variant will be sent to you at no further charge.
