The UNI-T UT387E wall detector helps locate hidden objects in walls, ceilings, and floors before you start drilling. It detects ferrous metals up to a depth of 100 mm, non-ferrous metals up to 80 mm, wooden beams and battens, as well as wires carrying alternating current. The measurement results are displayed on a 2.4-inch colour display, where you can see what the device is currently searching for. The device also announces the results audibly and alerts you with a sound alarm upon detection. It is suitable for DIY enthusiasts, electricians, plumbers, and anyone hanging shelves, cabinets, or pictures at home.
The wood detection operates in two modes. The precise mode scans the wall up to a depth of 20 mm, while the deep mode reaches up to 38 mm. The device can locate live wires up to a depth of 40 mm, allowing you to easily determine the path of the electrical installation and avoid damaging it. The operation is straightforward, the detector calibrates automatically, and you can switch between modes using the buttons on the front. Power is supplied by a built-in lithium battery, which can be charged via a USB-C connector, so you don’t need to buy batteries.

On the back of the detector, there are felt pads that allow the device to glide smoothly along the wall, making measurements more accurate. Before measuring, place the detector flat against the wall and slowly move it in one direction. When not in use, store it in the included pouch, which protects it from dust and scratches. The display and body can be wiped clean with a dry soft cloth.

How do I return goods?
